TRIP OVERVIEW

The Golden Dorado River Cruiser was conceived to address the seasonal and conditional migrations of the dorado, effectively moving the lodge up or down the Paraná River System whenever necessary due to changes in weather, water level, season, bait fish migrations, or simply in response to credible fishing reports.  That means that when clients arrive we are already where we need to be, and if where we need to be changes in the middle of a trip then a simple overnight ride and clients wake up in a new location for the next day's fishing. Meet Your Host

Nick Reygaert is the founder of Gin-Clear Travel. He has carved out a career as a celebrated fly fishing film maker for the last 15 years during which time he has travelled extensively in pursuit of the world's best fly fishing. Nick has had an obsession with golden dorado ever since he hooked his first one 14 years ago. He has travelled to South America numerous times in the last decade to tangle with these magnificent creatures. He relishes the opportunity to take hosted groups to fish for dorado in the mighty Rio Paraná from the luxury of a mothership.

Itinarary

Day 0 : (Nov 7th) International flight to Buenos Aires.

Day 1 : (Nov 8th) Transfer as a group to mothership (approx. 3 hours). Fishing in the afternoon.

Day 2 - Day 3 : (Nov 9th - Nov 10th) Full days guided fishing and accommodation with meals.

Day 4 : (Nov 11th) Half days fishing, evening transfer from mothership to Buenos Aires, check into hotel for an overnight stay. Those travelling onto Jurassic Lake will leave next morning for flight to El Calafate.
